Question

Does Online Business Really Pay?

Hey there... my name is Gregory Pearce

I first started dabbling in online marketing in 2003 when some people doubted that the Internet would even last. After 20 years in the corporate grind, I decided to exit from that time-sucking, stressful life and do my own thing.

I had a technical background, so I learned to manually code websites and create 'flash videos' that were all the rave at the time.

Only very few people owned devices that could even handle video, and consumer Internet connectivity was mostly dial-up.

Most folks reading so far don't even understand what I just said. (flash videos and dial-up... what's that?)

Kind of like this...

Not Online Marketing

Through 2006 I worked with a small number of clients helping them establish an 'online presence', bootstrapped a few simple sales pages together for them, and learned to generate leads online using paid ads.

Little did they know, I was stretched to my limit on skills and experience. (but thankfully, I managed to get acceptable results for them)

It was a huge learning curve, to say the least. I just powered through the fear of screwing up.

I wanted more.

Later in 2006 I was introduced to Affiliate Marketing.

The idea that I could make a full time income online selling other people's products was exciting.

No need to create my own products, hold inventory, process credit cards, do customer service, manage employees, or deal with shipping... on and on.

And, no need to have 'clients' in the traditional sense either.

It was perfect. Since I already did all that stuff, and more, in my old corporate gig.

Now, all I needed to do was focus on one thing.

Marketing.

Great! I jumped in with both feet and a whole lot of bravado.

And I earned a sum total of... well... nothing, zip, zilch.

Frustrating!

Nothing in life worth having comes easily...

I bought several courses from the then 'gurus', tried selling stuff off of Clickbank, bought into 'tools' that supposedly took advantage of 'loopholes' and provided 'hacks' for faster results (which were pure garbage, I later learned).

Chasing bright shiny objects in pursuit of 'success' burned a fat $30k hole in my pocket.

Empty Wallet

Nice.

The only bank accounts that were being fattened belonged to the information marketers, software vendors and push-button-to-riches peddlers.

I don't blame the 'gurus' for my failures. I bought their goodies because I didn't know any better. That was my bad... and I learned painful lessons from the experience.

I didn't give up. (although there were many times I wanted to throw my PC through the wall!)

I started making a few measly sales from my trial-and-error efforts, but it was inconsistent, and I wasn't earning enough from the 'freelance thingy' to easily pay all the bills, let alone 'live the dream'.

Until early in 2008, I found a mentor who was able to set me straight in my thinking and my marketing.

It was a game-changer, a defining moment!

He showed me the 'right way' to go about building an online business. (selling information products) The training was structured, easy to follow, much easier than I previously believed, and it worked.

Over time, failure turned into more consistent and predictable sales.

Finally!

I didn't experience 'overnight riches' - I hope you know by now, that doesn't exist.

Within a year, I developed the marketing chops I needed... that have sustained my lifestyle for well over a decade now, and counting.

I've become an Entrepreneur with a real business who not only sells high ticket products as an affiliate, but I also help folks create freedom and independence that they want through online marketing...

...as distinct from the myriad of unsuccessful online 'hobbyists' who try selling stuff online by shot-gunning their product links all over the Internet.

That does not work.

I don't look down on 'the hobbyists' at all - I understand them, because I did the same thing until I was shown a better way.

The fundamental mind shift I had to make was this: It's not about just hocking products to anyone with a pulse by any means available. It's about providing people with real value, helping them solve problems, and being your authentic self in the process.

It's about SERVING others!

That's my goal for gregorypearce.com.

Aren't you tired of the so-called 'gurus' online... pretending to be successful? Masters of 'cut and paste' and who have never had an original thought of their own?

What's worse is that they're cutting and pasting from other people who have also been cutting and pasting.

It's a circus!

Sigh.

Despite the shenanigans... there is huge opportunity!

Online Business Is Booming!

Earning a living by selling other peoples' products remains a proven business model that's been around since the beginning of dirt. Being able to do it online has opened up massive opportunity for everyone.

Affiliate marketing is perfectly suited for any person with a solid work ethic, who is committed to personal development, has the willingness to learn marketing, and ready to serve other people.

The short answer to the question "does online business really pay?" is a resounding "YES"... online business REALLY DOES PAY, and very well!

I am living proof... full-time online since 2008 and counting. (but you DO need proper guidance)

Building a thriving online business has never been more accessible than it is now.

Equally true, it has never been easier to get side-tracked and side-lined chasing pixie dust and falling prey to nefarious operators who will gladly take your money.

Make your choices carefully and wisely, but don't miss the opportunity to create a great business for yourself, starting right now.

If you're sick and tired of hyped programs, information overload, false promises, and lack of results... but you're committed to creating an ethical, profitable, and sustainable online business to fund the good life you dream about...

Let me help.

Cheers!
